Tribute to the False God
The Danthforz Forest lies on the edge of the K’zing-K’zung Mountains and spreads across the Zhlesh Plateau. Its evergreen trees, deciduous shrubs, ferns, swheat grasses, and fauna are all fed by three rivers, Zii, Zygsth, and Ningz, and their tributaries. These rivers are also the main source of trade, bringing minerals, fruit, and livestock from the mountains across the plateau.
Several villages are scattered throughout the forest, most along the river trade routes. Agriculture introduced by elves has brought groves of pear apples, apricots, and red olives, as well as cultivation of radishes, kohlrabi, and mushrooms. A few organized orchards also exist, the most unique being the starfruit orchard of the NullStar Ranch.
Teams of slavers also roam the forest, gathering unwitting villagers and adventurers alike. The largest slave consumer of the forest is Stoneclaw the Mad, a would-be god residing within Bat Mountain. His slaves are never seen again, thus he has become the ultimate threat to an underperforming or recalcitrant slave.
